I hope all have been safe and well during these odd times. It looks like it is about time to begin offering forest therapy again. I can use the practice and I need to get a feel for how to do this with COVID safety measures in place. That means….
* Face-covering/mask mandatory (when not off on your own)
* Social distancing – 6 feet apart.
* Check temperature before coming. (If over 100.4 degrees and/or if showing symptoms please stay home.)
We will meet at the picnic bench in front of the lodge. The road is 1 minute north of the Rt 9/Rt 301 traffic light.
Bring a snack and beverage for the end of the event.
Fee: This will only be a $10 event since it is an experiment in how to manage this safely. If you are currently unemployed due to COVID you need not pay, but RSVP here so I know to expect you.
Please arrive 5 minutes early so we can start on time.
This is one of our more low-intensity “walks” so great for those who are not comfortable with a lot of walking. We will be using the fields near the lodge.
After the walk, feel free to hike the trail and practice what you just learned!
All participants must sign a simple liability waiver at the start of the event to allow us peace of mind in offering our walks to the public.
