I am happy to announce that the Chuang Yen Monastery is once again open to visitors. This was one of my personal favorite spaces and all my attendees seemed to feel the same. I checked the space out, and while most buildings (including the dining hall) remain closed, the outdoor space I typically used is open.
This walk will be on monastery grounds. This is not a Buddhist event, nor do we have any affiliation with the monastery, HOWEVER, please respect their preference for modest clothing (no shorts, tank tops, or overly revealing outfits) and if you pack food, keep it vegetarian.
Cost: $20 (sliding scale for those in need)
Feel free to pack along some food or snacks for after the walk and we can make it a picnic!
All participants must sign a simple liability waiver at the start of the event to allow us peace of mind in offering our walks to the public.
Masks are now optional, but I ask the all maintain adequate social distancing. I will be masked as I welcome each of you and will then remove my mask when we are in position. I am fully vaccinated with my second booster.
